PMP compatible handheld devices are fitted with a SIM card to transfer data via the PMP Gateway Server to your control room. Within seconds of a ticket being issued the information will be available for your admin staff to see, accessible for payment either in person or electronically online or via IVR.
If there is mobile connectivity, any encrypted ticket data/images on the unit will be transferred. Once the Gateway Server has received it succesfully it acknowledges so that the mobile device knows it is safe to delete its own copy. If there is no connectivity, for example in an undergound car park, the data will be held in the unit until the next time it can connect. The data will always be sent as soon as possible.
